IAIS is honored to highlight the artistry of Jeanne Rorex Bridges during the months of February and March. She is an award-winning artist of Cherokee descent.  She lives in eastern Oklahoma on part of the farm land where she as raised.  Jeanne attended Bacone College in Muskogee, OK where one of her courses included Indian art.  This is a flat style of painting originated by the "Kiowa Five".
